This is my two step at home facial.
It came about during lockdown when (truth-bomb) I hadn’t washed my face for a couple of days and it needed a bit of TLC, but I didn’t have the energy or the inclination to do much…
Sometimes we just need a boost.
Whether you’re feeling a bit naff and need to treat yourself or you need a little pick-me-up to get in the mood to socialise (anyone else struggle with this?) or maybe your skin just needs a little wake-up to glow again.
Here’s my quick and easy two step at home facial.
You can do this in the bath, on your bed with a book or even whilst you’re hoovering. 
It less faff and more results.
Who’s it for? Pretty much all skin types would benefit unless you have any broken skin, or active inflammation issues (eczema/psoriasis).
Step 1 – On to clean skin (without makeup/spf/sweat) apply a small amount of glycolic cleanser to damp skin (Avoid your eyes and lips) Massage around your skin. You might feel a tingle, this is perfectly normal, BUT, if you’re new to glycolic or have a sensitive skin rinse it off after a minute or so.
Once your skin becomes more accustomed to this cleanser you can leave it on for longer. I leave mine on for 5-10 minutes. You know your skin, listen to how out feels.
Step 2 – Once the glycolic cleanser in completely rinsed off (mind your eyes!) apply a generous layer of the mask, leave this for at least 10 minutes or if you’re like me, you might leave it on until its all soaked in or you’re ready to move…then rinse off.
Your skin should feel super smooth, plump and hydrated after this. Looovely!
Depending on your plans, see how your skin feels, you might like to apply a cream, oil or nothing at all! Of course if you’re heading outside (and its day-time) you’ll need to apply your SPF.
